Excellent Bluetooth Speaker

An excellent Bluetooth speaker system with very, very good sound that’s full of bass with well rounded mids and highs. It looks gorgeous just sitting there and blends well with most decor without looking pedestrian like all of the competing rectangular bricks on the market. Harman went out of their way to distinguish this speaker’s looks so I’m not going to ding it for “not being portable enough.” Here are a few pros and cons:

Classic Speaker with Amazing sound.

If you’re looking for a full, rich, and enveloping speaker then, you’ve found it! I’ve had two speakers of the same model for over two years and this speaker is amazing. First, the range is far and connection is strong. I’ve been about 50-75 feet away from the speaker and it played without interruption. I love the sound and base that it has. The Lows are boomy and highs are clear. I had to return a speaker because I took it to an outing and my drunk friend dropped it. It did fill the immigrate area with music (20 foot radius) pretty well.

I love it that much

This is the second one of these that I have purchased. I love it that much! Awesome bass tones, very rich. They are seriously durable. My older one rocked itself right off of the curio cabinet and fell about 7 feet to the ground. Now while one of the feet did break off, the equipment inside still sounds the same. I did epoxy that foot back on and have not had one issue with it. The one that broke was about 5 years old already. These are durable products. If you don’t use the electrical cord, you will have 4 to 5 hours of playtime.

I cant believe how good the sound coming out of this speaker is

Wow! I cant believe how good the sound coming out of this speaker is. The base from this speaker in incredible for its size. I use it at work and have to keep the volume almost at its lowest setting otherwise everyone can hear the base thump through the walls. For the price this has to be the best portable speak I have heard. Only down side would be a short batter life. I got about 5.5 hours out of it.

Better sound than the $300 Bose, but heavier and less portable, and less battery life.

This older model is a wonderful value in a great sounding, Bluetooth speaker.

This is an older model without direct cable connection support. It’s a steal. It sounds great. It sounds quite a bit better than what I was using (which is the Bose Mini SoundLink). The Bose is excellent for the size but the size is a limitation in fullness (and balance) in sounds. This takes up more space and I’d not plan on it for a portable application–even though it has a rechargeable batter built in. It’s my new desktop sound system for my office (where I can crank it up when people have left for the day). It’s got great sound and I have found the Bluetooth connection to be very reliable with excellent sound. I am very happy with this purchase.

Where have you been all my life!? This device has the output that I’ve been missing in Bluetooth speakers. In my youth (ahem) we had full-sized JVC stereo racks, Pioneer, Kenwood, Jensen, etc. then TEAC and Yamaha came along. The sound that you wished for in the stereo store during demos. Maiden music played was Led Zeppelin, Itzhak Perlman, Elton John, Garth Brooks, Pavarotti, ELO, Adele, Lady Gaga, Sinatra, Aaron Copland etc. and even some of the “new” stuff …. every song was the best we’ve heard in ages! GREAT purchase 😉

One Great Speaker

I love this speaker. The sound is absolutely fabulous, the bass really kicks, and there is a heck of a lot of volume available. I have yet to check the battery life, but I do know I had it blasting while soaking for several hours in a jetted tub and it worked great until I turned it off and plugged in the charger. The design is pretty neat; it looks like a flying saucer tilted up on one edge.

Absolutely awesome speaker.

There are so many Bluetooth speaker systems to choose from! I bought this one after reading other reviews and also banking on the reputation of Harman Kardon. I am not disappointed and do not think you will be either if you decide to purchase this system. The sound is crystal clear, it sounds good at both a low and cranked up volume with rock, classical, or jazz. I tried them all. In a blind listening test we could not differentiate between this speaker and our Bose portable Soundock, and, to be honest, I did not expect this speaker would sound nearly as good as the Bose (at about 1/3 the cost). I am extremely impressed and highly recommend this speaker.
