Bought the LG GWR after returning the Sony Smartwatch 3. Did of lot of research and initially, the Sony had won me over based on specs like GPS + NFC built-in. Didn’t care for the Moto 360’s ‘flat tire’ and poor battery life. I had the Sony for two weeks before returning. I’ve had the LG-GWR for a few days now and it’s a keeper! Here’s what I can definitively say:
Round is the Way to Go (Dormant WiFi Finally Turned on From Update!)

Update 11/7/2015: Just like I thought they would, LG finally updated the LG-R to support WiFi when away from your phone. Updating to a 5 star rating. Still get a different band though, unless you like leather watch bands. I prefer metal.
Now that I have it, I won’t leave home without it.

I’ve had this watch for a couple months now, and now I’m hooked. It interfaces flawlessly with my Samsung Galaxy S6. Here are my favorite features:
Android Wear is something different, but welcoming, and this watch showcase it well.

Android Wear has a different personality than Samsung (Tizen) operating system.
this is not my first smart watch! I have owned an Apple watch (42mm)

Let me say first thing, this is not my first smart watch! I have owned an Apple watch (42mm), and a Moto 360 1st and 2nd Gen. My Apple watch was fine, but I didn’t care for iPhone nor did I really like the square design. My Moto 360 2nd gen was returned the next day after opening it and putting it on my wrist…the band was just very small looking for a mens watch band, it was a 20mm band and just didn’t look right. The other thing I hated about the Moto 360 2nd gen was the flat tire at the bottom, some people don’t mind it, but I am NOT one of them lol.
