The Pebble Smartwatch connects to your iPhone or Android device via Bluetooth so you get the information you need exactly when you need it. Designed to make your life easier, Pebble provides personalized notifications and downloadable apps to keep you in the loop when you’re on the go. You can also customize with watchfaces and apps to suit your personal style and interests. It features a long-lasting battery, user-friendly operation, and a screen that’s readable even in bright daylight or underwater. Pebble comes with a USB charging cable and Quick Start Guide.

Thoughtful Engineering in a Wearable Design

Pebble has a straightforward, wearable design that lets you get the information you need in just one glance. The e-Paper display is easy to read even in direct sunlight so you can always see what’s going on inside or out. Lightweight and comfortable to wear, Pebble won’t weigh you down when you’re on the move. Its 5 ATM salt or fresh water rating means you’ll still be accessible if caught in a downpour or swimming, and the scratch-resistant display can take some hard knocks while keeping its good looks. The battery conveniently lasts five to seven days on a single charge.

Works With Your Busy Life

Pebble does more than just tell the time. It displays email, SMS, Caller ID, and other notifications from your favorite apps right on your wrist, allowing you to leave your phone in your pocket while you’re in meetings, social engagements, or on the go. Pebble alerts you with a silent vibration to incoming calls, meeting reminders, and notifications from apps like Facebook and Twitter. And because of its long-lasting battery life, Pebble blends in to your day-to-day activities without slowing you down while you’re running, cycling, or just going about your busy schedule.

Choose from a variety of apps for fitness, music, and games.
Access Downloadable Apps

Pebble gives you quick access to a range of downloadable apps for endless combinations that suit your hobbies, interests, and lifestyle. Runners and cyclists can track performance with the popular fitness app RunKeeper. If you’re ready to hit the links, the FreeCaddie golf app lets you see the distance to the green at over 25,000 golf courses. And since Pebble is an open platform, new apps are always in the works from our development community and partners, letting you take advantage of new watchfaces, games, and other innovations.

Easy-access buttons let you control music, alarm, and setting.
Easy Operation

Pebble has easy-access Up and Down buttons to scroll through watchfaces and menus. The Select button takes you to the main menu, which includes music control, alarm, and settings. A simple tap on the watch or flick of your wrist will illuminate the backlight. To charge Pebble, simply connect it to a computer using the included custom USB cable.

Access your favorite music on iTunes, Spotify, and Pandora while on the go.

I didn’t purchase my Pebble through Amazon, I purchased through Target. The Pebble Smartwatch is the first smartwatch I’ve ever had. It was comfortable and stylish. You can pick your watch face which I liked because it made it feel custom.

Great product and customer service!

This is a good watch that has some cool apps and watch faces. I would get a screen protector for it – it scratched fairly quickly after I received it (but I also work as a cable installer). Works on my iPhone – you can fast forward, pause, rewind music. I use Spotify. There is also a Pandora app that works on the watch. The screen is easy to read. There are games. There are alarms. It even has an app for Starbucks! It has a Bible app which is nice for some people. It lights up when you shake it or move your arm. You can receive text messages on it and answer phone calls from it (can’t speak through the watch or anything, but it works great since I use a Bluetooth headset).

I got this watch when it was on sale from a link with techbargains*dot*com for 1*1*9. My husband hates gadgets and I love them. Still, I knew this would be great for him and not for me. He is in sales, and his phone rings all the time. My phone stays in my purse and rings only occasionally. Now with the Pebble, my husband can screen his calls, and see emails and texts on his phone face. That’s all we have set up so far. I wanted to set up his calender with notification but he mainly uses a paper planner. You can set up facebook updates too but he didn’t want his watch to go off for that. He loves that no one even knows he is checking his email, texts or calls since he set the watch notification to vibrate. He can now pre-screen his calls to determine which to answer and which to ignore. He says that he only takes his phone out now 10% of the time, and it’s always to answer an important call. I love that I can send him texts like, please order me another vodka with grapefruit juice while at a loud bar. Or please bring pick up milk and eggs. This part he is not so thrilled with. : ) Tip: the email notification didn’t work until we installed the latest update on the iphone 4s AND the pebble. Then it worked great. Oh, and the black on black watch looks so modern/chic and my husband likes to play at changing his watch face often. We are 5 star thrilled with this watch.

Be sure to use the "Pebble Watch" Android app, not the one named "Pebble"

I needed a cheap watch that I could track my stocks so I bought the original Pebble. I downloaded the Pebble app from the Google Play Store and downloaded an app called “Quoble” for real-time stock tracking on the Pebble. It would work for a while then get disconnected. I would have to open the Pebble Android app and then go into Quoble’s settings every time just to get my stocks loaded back onto the watch. I got very frustrated and decided to buy an Android Wear watch instead. I received it and immediately hated it because everything was harder to do on the Android watch. I had to do too much swiping and I couldn’t get an app to stay open such as a stock market tracking app because it always defaulted to the watch face every time I woke the watch up. I tried the Bubble Wear launcher to keep the app open but the stocks would only update when the watch woke up so it was never a quick glance at my watch to check the stock prices. I had also gotten used to advancing the music playlist on my phone with the Pebble’s up and down buttons while driving but every time I wanted to the same with the Android watch I had to look down and swipe the music app to the right just to get to the navigation buttons and then look to see where the buttons were instead of just feeling for them like with the Pebble. I decided that even with the app connection problems I was having with the Pebble, it was still a better experience than Android Wear. I had already deleted the Pebble companion app from my phone so I went back into the Google Play store to re-download it and when I searched for “Pebble” I noticed there were two Pebble apps! One simply named “Pebble” and another one named “Pebble Time”. I don’t own a Pebble Time but decided to give that app a try and it turns out that version supports all the Pebble watch models. That version works so much better and even loaded a newer firmware onto my watch that was not available with the other Pebble app. I wish I had known there was more than one Pebble companion app because it completely solved my problems! They really should remove that older version from the Google Play store.

Awesome watch, great price!

So I am one of those people that loves technology, but also is a cheapskate when it comes down to most things. I have wanted a smart watch for over a year and delayed/read reviews/delayed some more/read some more reviews. Finally I settled on the original Pebble (though the newer one is prettier) because the price was quite good as were the reviews. I love this thing! It is exactly what I needed. Yes, I would prefer it to be stand-alone (where you do not need a cell phone); but I am not willing to pay for an additional phone contract just to have that.

Huge Pebble fan now

Have had this watch for a couple months now. Sometimes the screen does pixelate, but for me switching screens and switching back always fixes it. Though the charger magnet is weak, this watch charges at least 5 times faster than my iPhone and does in fact last at least 3 days (I tend to play games on it which absolutely kills the batteries). If you used a regular watch face and only used it to get notifications and look at the weather etc, it would probably last 5 days at least. It does exactly what I needed it to for changing songs and seeing notifications while I’m riding my bike. You can’t send anything back, but I never really needed to. It’s very simple and so so simple to install and pair. Once and a while overnight it will un-pair or not get notifications. I just turn my phone bluetooth off and then repair using the ios app, and it has always fixed the connectivity issue. Love this watch, BUT GET A SCREEN PROTECTOR. It scratches so easily (it’s a plastic of some kind). They cost like 10$, but mine hasn’t come off at all since I put it on a couple days after getting my watch. Will definitely be getting the Pebble Time when it comes out.
