I’ve owned quite a few headphones. Test and return etc. I’ve had to of at least owned and used over 15 different headphones. But the Sennheisers were always the ones I could never get my hands on. One of the reason is because of the price tag alone. They cost as much as a 144hz monitor ranging from 250 to 300 dollars. Well i purchased them when they were 160 which is a drastic drop in the price tag for brand new cans. So I finally bought them! and that is why I am writing this review. Out of all the headphones I’ve used my favorite are the ATH-m50’s from Audio Technica and now the 363d’s. But the ATH cans have a very small sound stage and are mainly used for in studio equipment. So getting by I’ve been using the Razer kraken pros. Which have to be the worst headphones I have ever used straight out of the box! But once I messed around with the EQ I finally got them to sound pretty decent. But from time to time my ear drums would hurt from the over dramatic base and the drivers being literally right on your ear.

GREAT headset! highly reccomend. 🙂

Beautiful headset, simple and you can tell where sennheiser puts all thier work. Quality, not crazy looks with 16 million useless colors. It’s just very solid and feels like it’ll last.

Awesome! Nearly 2 years later and these things are still great. They’re like a soft lounge chair for your ears. I used to work from home and would wear these 8 hours per day 5 days a week, and my ears never got tired. I would oftentimes forget I was even wearing them and start to get up and walk away from my desk. Fortunately, the cable is SUPER long, so I’ve never yanked it out of the socket when I do that.

Great sounding, extremely comfortable headset

Great sounding, extremely comfortable headset. Works flawlessly in high quality stereo sound on PS4 with included USB sound card, no need to buy the extra 3.5mm headset jack adapter if you’re only going to use it on the PS4. Don’t let the word “stereo” fool you though, these puppies still sound beautiful for PS4 gaming. Directional audio cues are still great. Excellent for hearing footsteps in First Person Shooters. Amazing for music and movies as well. Easily the cleanest sounding audio from any gaming headset I’ve ever used. (And I’ve tried many high end models from Turtle Beach, Tritton Pro+, Astro A40’s, and Sony’s own Playstation Gold)

I am not a gamer but rather a musician (classical). I am also disabled, unable to type so I rely heavily on speech recognition (Dragon NaturallySpeaking). My spouse gave me a wonderful headphone set a couple of years ago (Sony MDR 7506) but alas, they do not have a microphone so I found myself using a rather cheap headset with a decent microphone. It was time to find a better solution.

and I have never been this satisfied with a set

I have been buying gaming headsets for almost two decades now, and I have never been this satisfied with a set. I initially bought this for a higher quality microphone, which I have to say I was justified in doing. The noise cancellation is on point, and I love the mute on moving the boom. What I didn’t expect was how amazing the 7.1 audio is. I’ve had some 7.1 headsets before, this one in fact replaced a Steel Series set that I before felt was satisfactory. Now I see I was playing with a child’s toy. This headset is the real deal, I’ve jumped more than a few times because it sounds like somebody is speaking from inside the room I’m physically in. The open ear design I find very appealing, but may not be for everybody. If you’d rather tune out everything around you, you may want another headset. Personally I love being able to have such crisp and clear audio, but still be aware of my surroundings, comes in handy with little ones in the house.

The best headset hands down

I’m so glad I got these. I’m able to wear these for over 8 hours without even having to adjust them. Most comfortable headset I’ve ever had on. Super lightweight. The sound quality is top notch. The surround sound is the best I’ve heard from any 7.1 headset. Music I’m hearing things I’ve never heard and the same goes for gaming. Nothing gets distorted or muddy. Everything is super crisp. The bass is perfect and I wouldn’t ask for anymore.

I’ve used a wide range of headsets throughout my life for gaming and the Sennheiser PC363D’s are the best gaming headset period. I used to think the Astro A40’s/50’s were the top of the line due to their price point, but ever since these Sennheisers, I can see what I’ve been missing my entire life.
