Earlier this week Apple had announced a new 12″  MacBook. Here are the new features:


Features of of Apple’s New MacBook



12 inch Retina display with  a resolution of 2304 x 1440 pixels.

The display is thinner than previous models  and is only 0.88 mm thick.

The display uses LED lighting which results in more efficiency and less power consumption.


The new MackBook features an Intel® Core™ M “Broadwell” processor, it is a fifth generation processor that is both powerfull efficient and generates less heat, which led to the omission of a cooling fan inside.



The new MacBook from Apple features 8GB of RAM and either 256GB or 512GB of flash storage.



The battery has more capacity and longer life, up to 10 hours of normal usage.



This is the first MacBook from Apple that features a new connectivity standard. It has only one dynamic USB-C port.

The port offers charging, data transfer, VGI, HDMI, and mini display port connections. This was designed to keep the new MacBook  thinner and lighter.



The keyboard is thinner and has larger keys. The keyboard is lit with an LED light under each key.



This MackBook has a new Force Touch trackpad, that senses the amount of pressure you are exerting and responds with feedback that you can feel. This leads to more functionality and to a better user experience.


Available Colors:

You can order your new MacBook in Silver, Gold or Space Gray.


The New MacBook will make a good fit for students,  professionals, or anyone who requires computing power, a sharp screen and a long battery life in a lightweight form.
