Winners of 2018 CES Awards

TechRadar, one of the most widely-read global consumer technology websites, has announced the results of its fourth annual TechRadar 2018 CES Awards. The annual awards program honors the most innovative gadgets and electronics of the year for consumers showcased at CES.

TechRadar’s editorial experts assessed each gadget shown at the conference, considering product design, engineering and stand-out innovation displayed. The awards span more than 20 categories, ranging from car tech and cell phones to tablets and much more.

“Major brands and fans alike rely on TechRadar for its honest approach and knack for catching the latest trends and devices,” said Gareth Beavis, interim global editor in chief at TechRadar. “This trust-driven relationship makes TechRadar’s judgment widely-respected and valued throughout the tech industry as well as at key events like CES.”

For the annual awards, TechRadar editors considered top gadgets across more than 20 categories, including Best Laptop, Best Smartphone and People’s Choice. Based on their expertise and trusted insight, the TechRadar editorial team selected winners that best aligned with its mission statement – helping people find the right technology for them.

When judging, the editorial team looked for products that have a clearly defined role, offer innovation, uphold the highest-quality standards and most of all, offer the promise of bringing enjoyment to people’s lives. Winning can be achieved by displaying excellent product value, or telling an innovative story in tech that the team has yet to experience.
